5 ways the Omniblend can whip up your best breakfast ever!

Make your breakfast easier, faster and taste even better in the fabulous OmniBlend! Read on for our selection of  our 5 Healthy Omniblend Breakfast Ideas for your busy workdays, relaxed weekends and everything in between!

1. Scrambled Eggs

If you are a fan of eggs for breakfast (and so are your family) then next time you are preparing scrambled eggs, try blending up the raw eggs in your Omniblend before they hit the pan. The Omniblend will whip extra air into the eggs, which in turn will make them extra fluffy and light!

2. Puffed Pancakes

Puffed Pancakes, or Dutch Babies as they are often called are extra easy to make in the Omniblend due to the blending action aerating the mixture. You basically blend the batter, rest it for 20 – 25 minutes, then place the batter in the oven on a pre-heated skillet, and watch it puff up! If you haven’t tried these before, here is a fantastic recipe.

3. Nut Milks

Nut milks are a raw, plant-based, gluten-free and dairy free alternative to regular milks, are extra delicious (especially when homemade) and are packed full of nutrients. We found this absolutely divine recipe for a Strawberry Almond Milk with Rose Water added to it. (and it’s super easy to make as well!)
Add some of this to your granola or muesli in the morning. Just delicious!.

And pick up your nut milk bag here to strain your milk.

4. Muffins

An ideal healthy breakfast on the go are blender muffins. You can make these ahead of time and store in an airtight container. Keep them on hand for days when you need to rush out the door in the morning. They are also great for a mid morning snack with coffee or tea (not that we recommend mid-morning snacks!!)
Try these Banana Nut Oat Greek Yoghurt Muffins.

5. Coffee Smoothie

Let’s face it, plain coffee is not breakfast. For those days when you need a pick-me-up and you just cannot wait for your morning coffee, try this nutrient dense coffee smoothie. It’s a much better option for breakfast for coffee addicts. You can use fresh ground coffee or brewed, chilled coffee in this recipe, plus it’s packed with banana, nut butter and vanilla. Yum!
